Advisory Committee Convened

Coming shortly after the last community consultation held in December, principals of Callaloo Cay stayed true to their agreement to convene an advisory body to address and discuss environmental concerns. The meeting included a site visit and a lengthy yet comprehensive explanation of mitigation measures by Trinidadian hydrologist Fazir Khan. At the conclusion of the meeting, there was a greater level of understanding of how the development would proceed. Representatives of the department of the environment and the Development Control authority came in their numbers and added great depth to the discussion
